About the role

Barfoot & Thompson Birkenhead are looking for a Social Media Intern to work initially 10 hours per week focusing on boosting the branch Facebook and Instagram pages with refreshing content and working with the team to implement new ideas and approaches to social media.

Branch Manager Pete is extremely proactive in the Birkenhead community - including Chair of the Birkenhead Business Association - and Pete and his team have established relationships with many local organisations and events so there’s endless opportunity for creative content and social posting, they just need the right person to execute it!


  • Studying marketing, communications or similar
  • Demonstrated social media skills
  • Ability to contribute ideas and proactively put into action
  • Ability to effectively take direction and constructive advice
