The role  

Foodstuffs North Island are looking for a Category Assistant to support their Produce team to help keep delivering fresh food at great prices. Working across FSNI retail banners - PAK'nSAVE, New World, Four Square - you will be responsible for managing, maintaining and processing product, price and promotional administration across a portfolio of products as well as communicating with suppliers and store owner operators - it's a fantastic opportunity to gain exposure to the world of FMCG.

This is initially a 12-month maternity cover contract, however there will likely be further opportunity available after the 12 months.


Requirements:

  • Recent graduate or graduating this year – Marketing or a business-related discipline
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Tech savvy with strong analytical skills
  • Ability to solve problems
  • A hunger to learn more about the world of FMCG retail
